WEBSITE PORTFOLIO

Bar Castilléjar

A restaurant website redesign for Bar Castilléjar in Louth, bringing the warmth and sociability of Spanish tapas into a clear, responsive digital experience. A charcoal, cream and terracotta palette, expressive serif typography and food-led imagery give the site a distinctive identity, with a direct route from discovering the restaurant to booking a table.

Website design & content structure

The design brings together the homepage, tapas information, the restaurant’s story, group dining and visitor details. Desktop layouts pair generous typography with large food imagery; the mobile layout stacks the content into a readable journey with a compact menu and prominent booking links. Contact information and practical details support guests planning a visit.

ResDiary booking integration

An embedded ResDiary calendar connects the booking page to the restaurant’s reservation system, allowing guests to choose their party size, date and time. Availability, guest details, card details and booking confirmation are handled by ResDiary. A direct link offers an alternative route if the embedded calendar does not appear.

Alongside the calendar, expandable booking information covers table times, changes and cancellations, late arrivals, larger parties and confirmation. A separate contact panel provides a clear route to the restaurant for help.

Project status: The images show the new design preview, awaiting launch. The website link currently opens the restaurant’s existing site and will remain the same when the domain is repointed.
